Yeah I know what you mean
My Sony Reader PRS-505 has to be the greatest thing I've bought in years. I read two or three books a week and with 3rd party software I can convert nearly every book I find on the internet to a format suitable for the reader (it handles most natively, however). If you know where to look there are an incredible number of pirated books on the internet. The screen keeps my eyes from straining and the device is much smaller and lighter than you would expect. Everyone needs to actually hold one and try one before they take a big ***** all over it. As a nerd and a book lover and pirate I really fit the niche market well, but I'm sure it will be a while before this type of reader is adopted by the mainstream. It's the perfect device for book nerds though.
