What's yours is mine, and mine is also mine.
Hollywood never lost Steven Spielberg. As far as I'm concerned they got him with that Oscar, took what childlike awe in cinema he had away, and made him a name to be branded on many of their subpar cattle. I know everyone changes as they get older but I miss the Spielberg who made Indiana Jones my hero, not the one that made Indiana Jones geriatric role model. I bet if we took the Steven Spielberg who directed Close Encounters and introduced him to Spielberg of today, they would barely recognize each other. Ah well, either way he's still a talented man and I will always be grateful for what he's done to the world of film.

it's amazing!

Maybe these kids can get employed by McAfee and Symantec to write viruses that they can later write (and sell) anti-viruses for.

Competence and integrity have no ideology.

Hypothetical terraforming situations actually only last a couple of years - enough to create a hyper-globally-warmed atmosphere and create plant life. Sorta like WALL-E.

If the side effect from the law exceeds the side effect from the drug then there's a problem - not sure who originally said it but it's a good way to put things into perspective.

It looks like the best of OS X with a small bit of Vista flair with the "gadgets" on the side. It looks like a much more pleasant interface to deal with, that's for sure. I just hope they can improve the usability to match. That's the only thing I see holding back Linux.

*****. If Apple was against DRM-free music, they wouldn't have put EMI music up without it. The only reason the rest isn't doing the same is that the other labels really don't like Jobs and iTunes having enough clout to call the shots on the record companies. So they give Amazon and others DRM-free music while forbidding iTunes to do so in the hope that they can break the so-called monopoly.

*waits for the Linux crowd to hear that*
