I don't see the big deal. I always bring an empty water bottle, then fill it up from a fountain inside security. I suppose that wouldn't satisfy the prissy types who need the label and seal to assure themselves it's pure/spring/overpriced kind of water. I've been drinking fountain water all my life and amazingly, I'm perfectly healthy in spite of it. I'm paying the airline to get me somewhere, not to feed and hydrate me.
